Mr Rex Wood-Ward, was appointed an executive Director and Chief  Executive with effect from 1 May 2003 and became Chairman on 26 September 2003.

During his 35 years of general management, mergers, acquisition and finance experience he has served on the boards of listed companies in South Africa, England and Australia.

He is currently a non-executive director of Coats plc.
